Hello Everyone,

I am Mohammadi Begum. I am originally from India. I arrived in the UK to do my Masters in September 2022. I graduated with an MA in Media and Public Relations in December 2023 from Brunel University London. I am currently interning for a PR agency.

Recently I won a non-conventional pageant in the UK with the title of Miss Asia GB under the Miss Category with AGLP Enterprises .https://aglpenterprises.com/
While on the journey with this prestigious pageant, I am raising awareness of mental health among International Students. I collaborated with different individuals with the same mission through my social media. We touch on topics such as the stigma of seeking help. The dynamic between the therapist/counsellors and receivers. Lack of motivation among the peers towards the seek of mental health help. Lack of self awareness and knowledge as a new person to the country.

I am on a mission to reach as many International Students as possible and share my story as I have been through many struggles myself mentally as an International Student and I am keen on helping others in regards to self-awareness and self-reflection. As I believe it is my Social Duty.
