My name is Tandi Nyawanza, I am a second year undergraduate who moved to London to study Classics at UCL. Outside of my studies, I have spent the past year as the President of the African & Caribbean Society, which I found to be really enriching as a proud Zimbabwean woman. I am also on the Young Champions Programme at The Black Curriculum, an organisation dedicated to decolonizing the national curriculum. Working for this organisation has been so rewarding and shown me that I am interested in working in the communications sphere. Coming to university has been a really challenging but also rewarding time as I have dared myself to go out of my comfort zone, with this podcast being no exception!
