About the Show
Pick Up The Mic is an ongoing podcast series, based in the United Kingdom (UK), that explores important themes such as race, and discusses support services available to young people from diverse backgrounds with their development, particularly as they navigate through the impact of the pandemic on employment and education.
Pick Up the Mic aims to help people navigate in this “new world” by:
-
Sharing the experiences and lessons learned so both the hosts and audience can learn together and evolve.
-
Showcasing support and resources that are available (particularly to students and graduates) and highlighting the work that individuals and small businesses and charities are doing to support people.
-
Giving a platform to those who are working on solutions to the issues we discuss or raising awareness of these issues.

This podcast reflects all their personal experiences, journeys in life and backstories, and we can’t wait for you to join them. Now is the time to Pick Up The Mic!
