Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an international human and civil rights movement in America, Canada, and the United Kingdom (UK). Their mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. Through highlighting and campaigning, they combat acts of violence, create spaces for black imagination and innovation and centring black joy!
