What Are Some Of The Changes At Pick Up The Mic?

We have some exciting updates and changes to share since our last post. Our journey has taken a new turn as we move from a single podcast to a dynamic podcast network. In this blog, we'll delve into the details of what this means, explore the four key areas we focus on, and give you a glimpse of what's to come. So, let's dive in!

  • We're thrilled to announce that Pick Up The Mic has evolved into a podcast network. What does this mean? Instead of one main podcast, we now offer a collection of podcasts, each focusing on specific areas of the student experience. This expansion allows us to provide more diverse and tailored content for you our audience. We've categorised our podcasts into the 4 main areas:

  1. Campus Culture Chronicles: Society Spotlight.

  2. Entertainment & Pop Culture: Backstage, Comics 101, Game On & The Two Maesters.

  3. Entrepreneurship & Business: Into The Spotlight.

  4. Student Development & Wellbeing: Behind The Curtain, The Student Guide & So No-one Told You.

  • We're not stopping here! Pick Up The Mic is committed to expanding our podcasts further. Stay tuned as we venture into new areas to cater to you. Exciting podcasts await, and we can't wait to share them with you!

  • We didn't forget! We promised you a birthday celebration, and we're excited to share more details with you soon. Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements as we plan a special event to celebrate our journey and express gratitude to our incredible community.

While a lot of things have changed, our mission hasn't! We are still producing content that is engaging, informative and relevant to you. Whether you want to learn more about your favourite TV shows and films, resources that can support your development, or learn more about campus life, Pick Up The Mic is here to help!
