Ciao! My name is Delia Gabriela Stoican and I am an International student born in Romania raised in Italy. I am studying Law with International Arbitration and Commercial Law and I am currently on my Placement year at Bentley Motors Limited. I am mostly interested in Corporate and Commercial Law with an international scope but I appreciate all areas of law. This year I have expanded my knowledge in Intellectual Property, Compliance and Risk, Contract Law and anything connected to electric vehicles and their future. In case you are wondering, my favourite Bentley is the BentAyga Speed in Moroccan Blue. In regards to my dream job, it would include a position at an International law firm where I can use my legal abilities but also travel and use my language skills as well. As a polyglot I was involved in the Polyglot Society last year and I am currently studying Russian. My personal interests space from an infinite love for our lovely ducks on campus to playing videogames in my spare time. I am also very dedicated to Volunteering, from litter picking to helping out at events. I believe it is more than fair to give back all the support we receive from such a welcoming community. Last year I achieved the Silver Award (50h of volunteering) and I am looking forward to doing more and reaching Gold.

My plans for the next academic year? I have been elected as the next Chair of the Law Society. I am sure the society will prosper and offer each Law student and the Law school the best collaborations and opportunities. I will use the experience I have gained from my wonderful year spent at Bentley to get the most out of my last year in Brunel.
