Kamusta! My name is Jake and I am the Vice-President for Brunel Filipino Society. I am currently a first-year student (2023/24) studying Computer Science, specialising in Artificial Intelligence.

I was born and raised in London, a city that prides itself on diversity and vibrant cultures.
From Sixth Form, I have always aspired to be part of a growing Filipino community and finding the opportunity to be a VP has manifested that into a reality.

The previous committee members of this society have worked hard on establishing a warm community not just at Brunel, but also with other universities and their Filipino Societies around the UK. Our values has always been to welcome everyone, irrespective of whether you are Filipino. The events that we participate in and host always puts you first ensuring that everyone has a good time.
