Shane is a third year BSc Environmental Sciences student and the chairman of the environmental sciences society, which is currently working on implementing a community garden on campus for students and staff. He is interested in promoting environmental conservation and mitigating the impact of climate change on the public. He is currently on placement with the company Phyona; in which he works as a research assistant to better understand how plants can be used to mitigate impacts of soil pollution in different places around the world.
