Fabiola is a health policy expert, NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, and co-founder of the Continual Sleep app, a start-up on a mission to solve modern healthcare's silent epidemic: poor sleep. With 12+ years in UK healthcare, life sciences, and trade, Fabiola currently leads supply resilience at DHSC, pioneering innovations like drones to future-proof medical supply chains. Awarded best dissertation prize for their health policy research on sleep from Imperial College, Fabiola is dedicated to connecting government strategy, tech innovation, and sleep science to improve population health in the UK and globally.
Shadi Abu-Hayyeh, PhD, is an inventor, public health specialist, published scientist, and co-founder of the Continual Sleep app, tackling one of modern healthcare’s biggest blind spots: disrupted sleep. Deeply passionate about sleep, science, and data, Shadi is a self-proclaimed nerd who enjoys taking complex science and turning it into scalable, real-world health tech.
His work spans deep lab science and commercial strategy. Alongside his startup, he develops commercial consultancy operating models in healthcare for the British Government and researches metabolic diseases as an Honorary Research Fellow at King’s College London.
Previously, he led healthcare exports across the Middle East and North Africa for the Department for Business and Trade, consulted at Accenture, and worked as an academic cell biologist. Shadi sees himself as a node connecting science, public health, innovation, and commerce to get actual products into the hands of the people who need them most.
